Reminds oos of being an older bairn - I escaped ter New Zealand

Aye picked oop this book from Revival in Newtown. Allus loved the man's pictures taken on Tyneside and with the wonderful Amber collective. All copyright ter the man but sharing, particularly the street in snow and then un demolished. That were my experience of growing oop in Newcastle in early 1960s. Bleak boot seared inta the core of my being.

Aye, an today I heard he died from lung cancer. Yer a good un Mr Killip. Thank you fer the record yer made pf folk in north east- the pictures live on.
