I did review Gaston's War on Amazon. My father was imprisoned at Miranda De Ebro (near Burgos) in 1942. He was a Belgian communist resistant and escaped through France, across to Spain and then to England in 1943. I have a Belgian Army Recommande - Annexe L'Attestation showing his active service in Belgium and later in the British Royal Navy (Forces Belge) but even after visiting the Musee de Resistance in Bruxelles I have not found any further information about his war years.
